What do i need to apply for a Palmpay POS

All you need is your ID card (whether national ID card, Driver’s license, Voter’s card or international passport), Nepa bill, and passport photograph. These plus a cautionary fee of N20,000 is what you need to get the POS. As i have said earlier, your N20,000 will be refunded if you decide to return the POS as long as the POS is in good condition.

The following documents will be required

  • A verified Identity card such as International Passport, National ID Card, or Voters Card
  • Utility Bill (Nepa Bill)
  • Business License (For Registered business only)
  • Valid BVN
  • Valid Account Number

Other details you will need to apply for Palmpay POS

  • First name
  • last name.
  • Date of birth.
  • The gender.
  • Email address.
  • Username.
  • Phone number.
  • Mother maiden name.
  • Two address line.

How to fund Palmpay account

Sometimes, you might be out of money on your Palmpay POS and you have a customer that wants to do deposit. The next thing you need to do is to fund your Palmpay account. Here’s how to do that

Your palmpay account number is your PHONE NUMBER the one you use to create your palmpay account but you will remove the first ‘0’ in the number. For example if your mobile number is 08101409501 <<<Click here to chat me on Whatsapp>>>> , your palmpay account number will be 8137820379. 

You will go to your bank mobile app to do transfer, just the way you do transfer to your friends on your bank app(for any bank you are using) when you want to select bank, chose PALMPAY and put your phone number without the first ‘0’

How secure is Palmpay POS and where is Palmpay head office

Palmpay is licensed by the central bank of Nigeria (CBN), they have several high level licenses that includes the MMO license which authorise them to carry out agency banking services. Does Palmpay POS support all ATM card 

You can use any ATM type on the POS including Mastercard, Verve and Visa cards. Currently, only debit cards, credit card payments are not yet supported.

They have two account tiers:

– Tier 1 has a transaction limit of ₦50,000 and balance limit of ₦300,000

– Tier 2 has a transaction limit of ₦200,000 and a balance limit of ₦500,000

    Just bought a palm pay pos terminal is 99% ok ,but I just found out agents are not on whatsapp group here in osogbo osun state which in unlikely like other pos operators
